Cheryl Block, MA, Author and Publisher
Cheryl was a special educator for twelve years before entering educational
publishing. As a special education teacher, she found that science engaged
even the most reluctant student. She authored and co-authored numerous
educational books and software products for the Critical Thinking Company
including Think Analogies, Can You Find Me, the Reading Detective
series, and the Editor in Chief series. She started Block Publishing in 2004
to combine her skills in teaching and writing with her love of nature; she
just completed her tenth year as a docent with the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Webs to Whales Nature Tales, a series of picture books with interactive
software, combines science with literature.
